Killing Floor Game Review

This game is a multiplayer version. It puts the player into war against genetically modified humanoids that have escaped the lab and are terrorizing England. They travel together trying to eat humans and they come in different breeds. The players are supplied with a variety of different weapons and their job is to stop them. In killing floor, a players job is to slaughter the specimens, buy new equipment that are sold by a trader until they get to the boss fight with Patriarch. He is very nasty as he comes to the fight with a machine gun, rocket launcher, and finally yet importantly, he can become invisible.

The ballistics in this game feels real because of the graphics and iron sights. To survive the intense, players must coordinate with their teammates and make good use of their environment by creating choke points forcing the creatures to struggle and fight. Players need to accomplish each stage near the trader since they move and only open for business for only a minute. Killing Floor Game Review

At the beginning of every stage or map, the player must enhance their skill by selecting six rewards. For example, medics or commandos who do major damage to the enemy and are able to spot the invisible enemies. Throughout the game, players will gain experience by leveling up their rewards. In selecting rewards, the player needs to look at their teammates since they require a well-rounded team to increase their survival chances.

Some of the annoying factors of the game are the slow motion kicks that come at surprising moments like when a player is trying to turn. Another situation can be when one is trying to kill the final enemies who are able to navigate the map yet they keep getting stuck to objects along their paths. Sometimes, they even do this while invisible. Killing floor has both multiplayer and single one man shooter mode. The one-man shooter mode means one become the macho man of the game but it is a bit difficult as compared to the multiplayer option where one has a whole army to themselves but that means their survival depends on their teammates.

Killing floor does not match up to the more recent games thanks to its engine that is five years old. When the lights are dark, one cannot help noticing how stiff the animation is and the specimens are naked. The specimen “flesh pound” is interesting enough since it comes with two meat grinders as arms and a yellow light that turns red when provoked.

For the sound the makers really did a good job especially for the guns. The metal music does a very poor job of rising spirits and it’s of poor quality same as to the tones of your team mates. Killing floor is a game that players will enjoy decapitating monsters. Playing it with friends makes it even more entertaining though the script is shallow and the graphics are not fit for young children.
