Mexico is a vast country which makes it very interesting for a lot of people. Tourists visit for their unique architectures, historical ruins, delicious Mexican food, extraordinary shopping experience, ever famous beaches, and many more. If you are about to go to this fascinating country, make sure you have the basic must-haves. You are not ready to leave just yet without going through the list below.

Of course, do not forget your passport. You will need to present your passport whether you travel by plane, land, or cruise. Always carry with you your driver’s license or birth certificate as additional identification documents. You should also have at least two photocopies of the page of your passport with your picture just in case your passport gets lost or broken. And obviously if you are traveling by plane, do not forget your airline ticket.

If you are bringing your car, proper documentation should be presented to prove ownership such as registration certificate. If the vehicle is rented, show the contract between you and the leaser, which should be under the name of the driver. Bring appropriate clothes and shoes. For some locations, temperature can really be high therefore you should have light clothes with you.
