  2. After laying the board, Chance and Community chest cards should be positioned on their respective places facing down.
  3. All players should then choose their tokens and put them on the start box.
  4. Decide among yourselves who will be the banker. The responsibility of the banker is to handle the properties, Title Deed cards, and money for the entire period of the game.
  5. Give out the play money to the players. Initially, the total money that each player should have is $1,500 in the following quantity: five $1 bills, five $5 bills, five $10 bills, six $20 bills, two $50 bills, two $100 bills, and two $500 bills.
  6. Each player should roll the dice. Whoever gets the highest score will be the first one to play, and then take turns counterclockwise.
  7. Whenever it is your turn to play, roll the dice to know how many steps you can advance on the board. Move your token accordingly.
  8. As you stop in a step, do the appropriate required action. If you land on the Chance or Community Chest, get a card and follow the guidelines. If you stop on a property possessed by a player, you have to pay rent before the next player rolls the dice. You also have a chance to buy a property from the bank if you landed on that space. But if you decide not to purchase it, the property must be auctioned by the banker. In this case, any player can bid and the property will be awarded to the highest bidder. Price bidding does not have any restrictions.
  9. Every time you pass by or stop on Go, you can collect $200 from the bank.
  10. You can also go to jail for the following reasons: you land on the step of Go Directly to Jail; the card you got from the Chance or Community Chest asks you so; or you roll doubles three consecutive times. But of course you can also get out of jail through the following: roll doubles in any of your three turns; you do not roll doubles in three consecutive turns; give a Get Out Of Jail Free card; or pay a fine of $50.
  11. Always remember the objective of the game so try to purchase a lot of properties and acquire loads of cash compared to your opponents.
