How to Keep an Idiot Busy

Every once in awhile, we experience having excess time whether we are in the office, at home, inside the car stuck in traffic or simply just everywhere we go. Although for some, almost everyday is a time to kill. If you are lucky enough to have excess time, here are 12 ways on how to keep an idiot busy without stressing out your brain cells.

  1. Update your electronic devices like PDA’s, cell phones, MP3 players. Remove old entries or update records. In this way, you can free up space for more useful stuffs.

  2. Create small projects. Crochet, cross stitch, sketch, and string beads are only a few things to do to consume your time.

  3. Exercise. This is a perfect way to stay fit and meet new friends.

  4. Plan for an outing. Volunteer yourself to arrange a trip with your friends or relatives. Organizing a get-together eats up a lot of time especially if a lot of people are invited. You have to look for available transportation and a place to stay if it is an overnight trip, plus you have to consider the budget of everyone. Don’t worry, all your hard work will pay off when you are already having fun with your love ones.

  5. Push buttons in an elevator. You will definitely kill a lot of time in doing this. Just make sure nobody will hop in with you; or else you are dead!

  6. Wax your car. This is essential if you want to maintain your automobile looking good as new. You will also be able to save money by doing it yourself than paying the labor of somebody else. Besides, this is good arm exercise for you.

  7. Make a scrap book. You can keep it for yourself or as a gift to your love ones. It is just appropriate to work hard for the memories that you really treasure.

  8. Read. Whether it is fun and light pocketbooks, magazines, fiction or non-fiction, or anything and everything under the sun, you could actually learn. It is about time to catch up on this frequently ignored hobby.

  9. Watch television. Well, who doesn’t? It can be any programs, your favorite series or movies.

  10. Play games. If you have PSP, X-box, Playstation, Nintendo Wii or other gadgets which you can play games, this can definitely occupy your whole day. There are a lot of games out there that will suit your preference. Whether it is RPG, mind-stimulating or any other games for that matter, you will never ever run out of something to play.

  11. Sit in front of your computer. Yes, you can actually sit all day in front of your computer and you won’t run out of things to do. Surf the internet. Read blogs or reviews. Shop. Watch a music video/ series/ movie. Play games. And the list just keeps going on.

  12. Daydream. If you are in high school or college, you are probably an expert in doing this while listening to your teacher. But as you get old, you tend to forget how to relax. Dream on anything. It is something that keeps you going in life.
